Florence Marie Sifert, 68, formerly of South Main Street, Washington, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2004, in Washington County Health Center, Washington, following a three-year illness.
She was born August 31, 1935, in Rea, a daughter of Albert W. and Rose F. Clemens Russell.
She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Community Church.
She was a 1954 graduate of Hickory High School and had 18 months of nurse's training at Washington Hospital.
She enjoyed crafts, reading and people.
Surviving are two daughters, Sherry F. Salisbury and Johanna M. Russell, both of Washington; four brothers, Albert L., Charles E. and Harold G. Russell, all of Washington, and Howard N. Russell of Canonsburg; four sisters, Clara B. Turk, Betty L. Torboli of Washington, Lois A. Weaver of Washington and R. Darlene Elliott of Washington; three grandchildren, Keli Rose Salisbury, Scott Edward Salisbury and William Edward Salisbury Jr.; and a great grandchild.
Deceased is a brother, Gaylord A. Russell.
