Anna K. Innis Heatley, 95, of Washington, died Saturday, December 29, 2007, in Humbert Lane Personal Care Home, Washington.
She was born June 22, 1912, in Brownsville, a daughter of George and Mary Fedak Kurtinecz.
Mrs. Heatley was a packer-selector at Hazel Atlas, retiring after working 35 years.
Mrs. Heatley was of the Russian Orthodox faith. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of her home, playing cards and Dominos. She was a member of the Retired Person’s Social Club.
She was married to William T. Innis, who died in 1973.
On February 20, 1947, she married James E. Heatley. They were together until his death on August 18, 2006. Before he passed away they had enjoyed traveling and visiting grandchildren.
Surviving is her son, Regis A. Innis, who resides in Washington with his wife, Marlene Elco Innis. Their three children, Chris, James and Rebecca, are Anna’s grandchildren.
Also surviving are six greatgrandchildren, Ryan and Rebecca of Texas, Marisha and Janardan of Florida, and Jamie and Alex of Maine.
Friends will be received from noon to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2008, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Entombment will follow at 3:15 p.m., at Washington Cemetery Mausoleum, 498 Park Avenue, Washington, with James Dugan officiating.
