Anna Mary Anesetti, 100, of Washington, died Sunday December 2, 2007, in her home. She was born in Prima Luna, Italy on June 26, 1907, a daughter of Charles and Virginia Combi.
Throughout her life she worked as a farmer and was proud to have been a Foster Parent to 100 children. She was Pentecostal.
On August 9, 1933, she married Max Neman Anesetti who died on May 15, 1990.
Surviving are two daughters, Catherine V. Ferri and Martha J. Krenzlak; four foster daughters, Judith Iams, Jeanne George, Patrice Gowers, and Martha Fender; two foster sons, Dennis Tunney and John Rohaley; a sister Pauline Rupani of Carnegie; five grandchildren; many foster grandchildren as well as many foster great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a brother Charles Combi and two grandchildren, Albert and Robert Ferri.
Friends of Anna Mary Anesetti, 100, of Washington, died Sunday December 2, 2007, will be received on Monday, from 5 to 9 PM in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue. Services will be conducted in the St. Paul A.M.E. Church, 16 Ridge Avenue, Washington, at 12:00 Noon, Rev.’s Arthur E. Doctor, Jr. and John Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
