Richard Dale Harding

Avid fisherman. Richard Dale Harding, 51, of Washington, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 6, 2007, in his home. He was born December 11, 1955, in Washington, a son of the late Harry Franklin Harding Sr. and Shirley Livingston Harding. Mr. Harding was a self-employed carpenter and construction worker. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 927 and Independent Club, was an avid fisherman and formerly enjoyed hunting. On September 13, 1975, he married Joy Atkinson, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Renee (Matt) Kovac of Canonsburg; a brother, Harry F. Harding Jr. of Burgettstown; a sister, Susan Bogan of Washington; and a grandchild, Desarae Brautigam. Deceased is a brother, Robert Louis Harding. At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held. William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., Washington, is in charge of arrangements.
