William Orville Bryner, 60, of Hickory, died at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2007, in Allegheny General Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born September 28, 1946, in Washington, a son of Thelma Perry Bryner of Washington and the late Orville Ray Bryner.
Mr. Bryner attended Trinity Schools. He was employed as a truck driver for 35 years at General Cryogenics, where he very much enjoyed his job.
Mr. Bryner attended Hickory Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Teamsters Local.
On June 18, 1983, he married Karen Carp, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, William R. (Traci) Bryner of Washington; a step-son, Leland R. (Myla) Samples, Jr. of Hickory; two step-daughters, Holly Samples of Tampa, Florida, and Lora Samples of Pittsburgh; a brother, Donald E. (Marcelene) Bryner of Claysville; a sister, Patricia (Fred) Vogelsang of St. Petersburg, Florida; and seven grandchildren, Sabrina Allen, Raquel Bryner, Josalyn Samples, Jessica Samples, JaMichael Samples, Taylor Edwards and Mikayla Samples.
Deceased are a daughter, Shelly Bryner; and a brother, James W. Bryner.
Friends will be received 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2007. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
