Fourth Presbyterian Church member enjoyed baking Patricia Louise Jones, 71, of Tionesta, died unexpectedly at 8:38 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2007, in Titusville Hospital. She was born April 21, 1935, in Donora, a daughter of Charles David and Lorena Mitchell Neff. A 1954 graduate of Washington High School, Mrs. Jones worked for seven years as a cook at Cougar Bobs Tavern in Kellettville. She was a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Jones was past president of the auxiliary of American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175. She enjoyed baking, playing women’s shuffleboard and her dogs. She will be sadly missed by friends and adopted grandchildren in Tionesta who dearly loved her. On June 28, 1958, she married Ronald Henry Jones, who died October 30, 1999. Surviving are a son, Robert Charles (Cheryl) Jones of Washington; four daughters, Shari L. Jones, Rona Carter and Dana Sue (William) Johnson, all of Washington, and Debra (Mark) Ullom of Claysville; a brother, Charles A. (Nancy) Neff of Washington; a sister, Joyce (David) Hough of Annapolis, Md.; five grandchildren, Mark Ullom Jr., Matthew Ullom, Ashley Jones, William Johnson Jr. and Christa Carter; and several nieces and nephews. Three children, Elisha, B.J. and Phillip Scherer, were considered to be her “special adopted grandchildren.â€쳌 Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, with the Rev. Susan VandeKappelle officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
