Steven Allen Schillinger

Steven A. Schillinger, 56, of Washington, died Saturday, July 5th , 2009, in his home after having been in declining health since 2007. He was born in Pittsburgh on August 30, 1952, a son of the late George F. and Harriet J. Sanders Schillinger. Mr. Schillinger had attended Pittsburgh Schools. He had most recently worked nine years for AMROX. Spending time with his grandchildren was most important to him and he enjoyed Sci-Fi films and Star Trek, cats and animals, and actively read man books in his spare time. On November 14, 1981, he married Patricia “ Trish “ Hogan who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Justine ( Richard Tarolli, II ) Schillinger and Jennifer Schillinger of Washington, and Patricia Hadley of Portland, Oregon; brothers, George and William Schillinger both of Pittsburgh; a sister Sue Schillinger of Linesville; grandchildren, Rylee Nicole Schillinger, Landon William Steven Schillinger, Dominic, Tara, and Ben Hadley; as well as several noeces and nephews. Friends of Steven A. Schillinger, 56, of Washington, who died Saturday, July 5th , 2009, will be received on Tuesday, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. The family is requesting donations be made to them, in care of the funeral home.
