Jerome Paul Marry

Jerry Marry, 59, of Washington, died Thursday, November 1, 2007, in his residence. He had been in declining health. He was born April 22, 1948, in Washington, a son of Nello and Amelia Montecalvo Marry. Mr. Marry graduated from Washington High School and Duff’s Business School. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam, where he earned the M14 and M16 Marksman awards, First Class Gunner M60 award, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two bronze stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with device, combat Infantryman Badge and two Overseas Bars. Mr. Marry was honorably discharged as a sergeant on April 23, 1969. He was a retired steelworker, having worked at Jessop for 30 years. Mr. Marry was Catholic by faith. Surviving are two sons, Christian (Tammie) Marry of Washington and Jonas (Marla) Marry of McMurray; two brothers, Dennis Marry of San Clemente, California, and Mark Marry of Washington; and five grandchildren, Gaage, Dausen, Addison, Logan and Rylee Marry. Deceased is a brother, Vincent Marry. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2007, with Rev. Ed Saxman officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
