Philomena (Chic) Scandale Onopiuk

Philomena Scandale Onopiuk, 79, of Washington, PA, died Thursday, July 19, 2007. She was born October 31st, 1927 in Waynesburg, PA, a daughter of Joseph and Lucia Torchia Scandale Mrs. Onopiuk graduated from 5th Ave High School, Pittsburgh. She married Metty (Matt) Onopiuk on March 26th, 1955. She was generous, caring, loving, and enjoyed traveling. And was a devoted wife and mother. She loved spoiling her family. She was partner of Four Seasons Resort, treasurer and secretary of Interstate Building and Construction, Inc., She is survived by her husband, Matt, children, Steven (Linda) Presto SR., Joy (Randy) Bail, Lynn Brogley ; 2 brothers, Anthony Scandale, Joseph (Idabelle) Scandale Jr.,. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is a sister, Philomena (Minnie) Scandale. Friends of Philomena Scandale Onopiuk, 79, of Washington, PA, who died Thursday, July 19, 2007, will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2007, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations to: National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York 10016.
