Jakob Michael Farrar

Jakob Michael Farrar died Saturday, July 14, 2007, the day of his birth, in Washington Hospital. His parents are Suzanne K. Kreassig and Michael W. Farrar of Washington. Surviving are a brother, Anthony Farrar of Carmichaels; paternal grandmother Iris (Jerry) Stevenson of Galliopolis Ferry, W.Va; maternal grandparents Melvin (Colleen) Kreassig and Martha (Kenneth) Kieler, both of Dubuque, Iowa; three uncles, Terry E. Farrar and William E. Farrar, both of Carmichaels, and Michael Kreassig of Prophetstown, Ill.; an aunt, Karla (Tom) Glover of Washington; and many cousins. Deceased are an infant sister, Myranda Lynn Farrar, and paternal grandfather William R. Farrar. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 20, in West Middletown Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. The family suggests memorial contributions to Children's Hospital, 3705 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
