Evelyn Grace Pattison

Evelyn Grace Pattison, 77, of Washington, died at 8:20 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2007, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness. She was born March 20, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of James Maurice and Cora Wilkinson Pattison. In 1948, Ms. Pattison graduated from Washington High School, where she had been a member of the band under the direction of Paul Harding. She worked as a district manager for Westinghouse Credit Corporation and Chrysler First Credit. Ms. Pattison was a member of Fairhill Manor Christian Church and enjoyed solving jigsaw puzzles and knitting. She was an avid fan of Washington High School sports and Pittsburgh sports. Surviving are a brother, David Russell Pattison of Washington; one niece, Diane (James) Cope of Washington; three nephews, James "Jamie" (Nancy) Pattison of Simpsonville, South Carolina, James Corey (Pat) Pattison of Round Rock, Texas, and Thomas (Linda) Pattison of Florida; great nieces and great-nephews, Dr. Sandy Cope, Christopher Yokoyama, Emily C. (Daniel) Robinson, Andrew J. Cope, Caitlyn E. Pattison, David J. Pattison, Tommy Pattison and Megan Pattison; and one great-great niece, Cora Elizabeth Yokoyama. Deceased are a brother, James Ellis Pattison; a sister, Eva Gertrude Luellen; and two nephews, David R. Pattison, Jr., and Michael Ellis Pattison. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Additional visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m., the hour of service, Thursday, July 19, 2007, in Fairhill Manor Christian Church, with Rev. Dr. David Mansfield officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
