Patricia L. Norris

Patricia L. Norris, 68, of Washington, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, in her residence. She was born August 4, 1939, in Marianna, a daughter of Ralph and Margaret Peters Hagedorn. For 25 years, Mrs. Norris worked at The Washington Hospital in the housekeeping department. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, playing Scrabble and solving crossword puzzles. On February 23, 1957, she married Arthur C. Norris, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are a son, Arthur C. (Nancy) Norris, III of Washington; two daughters, Linda (Bill) Hickman of Georgia and Barbara (Rich) Reitter of West Virginia; a brother, George Hagedorn of Richeyville; one sister, Kathryn Bennardini of Marianna; seven grandchildren, Art, Tina, James, April, Kara, David and Jason; and seven great-grandchildren. Deceased are a brother, Donald Hagedorn; and two sisters, Thelma Skorich and Betty Sabocheck. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
