Debra Jean Shaffer

Debra Jean Shaffer, 55, of Washington, died Sunday, November 4, 2007, in Donnell House following a two-year illness. She was born September 17, 1952, in Washington, a daughter of Clarence V. and Olive Mary Richmond Shaffer. Ms. Shaffer was a graduate of Washington High School and worked as a medical billing specialist at South Western Pennsylvania Neurology for six years. She was a member of Glenn Street Free Methodist Church and Eastern Star. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are a daughter and husband, Michele Zullo and Joseph Hutton, of Pittsburgh; three granddaughters, Joelle, Hannah and Lauren; and a brother, David Shaffer of Conroe, Texas. Debbie was loved very much by family and friends, and will be missed. At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services. William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, is handling arrangements.
