OSI employee active with Washington City Mission
Michele Ann Farer, 51, of Washington, died Friday, March 14, 2008, in Washington Hospital, following a short illness.
She was born January 30, 1957, in McKees Rocks, a daughter of the late Michael and Helen Wovchko Sukaly.
Most recently, she was employed by OSI in Southpointe, in their customer relations department, while attending Shiloh Bible Institute.
She was very involved with Washington City Mission and volunteered at Washington Youth Shelter and counseled others at Lighthouse Recovery for Women.
Everyone knew her as a special person who was not only supportive to all, but served as a sponsor to several individuals in recovery.
She attended Mt. Olive Church in Canonsburg.
Surviving are two sons, Matthew and Dylan Farer of Pittsburgh; a brother, Gary (JoAnne) Sukaly of McKees Rocks; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
