Freda Faye Stollar Blose, 89, of Washington, died Thursday, October 11, 2007, in Donnell House, following a one-year illness. She was born February 25, 1918, in Burnsville, a daughter of James William and Dora Sprowls Stollar. Mrs. Blose worked as a waitress at Howard Johnson’s restaurant for 30 years. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed flowers. On February 17, 1941, she married Lewis Paul Blose, Sr., who died May 11, 1981. Surviving is a son, Lewis P. Blose, Jr., of Washington. Deceased are three brothers, Robert D., Floyd C., and Walter L. Stollar; a sister, Irene Timmons; and a sister, Mabel. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2007, with Pastor Nathan Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
