Jill Maureen Mounts Legler, 47, of Washington, died Sunday, October 22, 2006, in Donnell House, Washington, following a seven-year illness.
She was born in Washington on August 19, 1959, a daughter of Harry and Marion Powelson Mounts, who survive.
She was a graduate of McGuffey High School and Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing in Wheeling, W.Va. She worked for 25 years as a registered nurse at Washington Hospital.
Mrs. Legler enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, needle work, as well as spending time with her family. Most recently, she made beaded Cancer Awareness bracelets and distributed them.
On June 21, 1980, she married Robert L. Legler, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Jillian M. Legler, and a son, Zachary Legler, both at home; a brother, Jere Mounts of Columbus, Ohio; and two nieces, Brittany and Tatum Mounts.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 27, with the Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Claysville Cemetery.
