Betty Jean Reese

Betty Jean Reese, 80, of Washington, died Sunday, October 7, 2007, in Presbyterian Senior Care, following a lengthy illness. She was born June 8, 1927, in Grafton, West Virginia, a daughter of William H. and Helen Henry Reese, Sr. Ms. Reese worked as a packer-selector at Brockway #7/Tygart Valley Glass for 40 years. She was a member of Fairhill Manor Christian Church and enjoyed watching television, especially the Steelers, the Pirates, and westerns. She is survived by a brother, Bill (Virginia) Reese of Washington; and a sister, JoAnn (Joe) Mikus of Houston; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sisters, Nancy Marshall and Marge Dillie. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or services. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
