Edna Kowalski

Edna Kowalksi, 90, of Washington, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2007, in Washington Hospital, where she had been a patient for one week. She was born September 30, 1916, in Meadowlands, a daughter of Martin and Anna Szrafanic Macanga. Mrs. Kowalski was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and fishing. She was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church. In 1939, she married Stanley Kowalski, who died April 15, 1985. Surviving is a son, Robert Stanley Kowalski of Washington. Deceased, in addition to her husband, are a brother, Edward Macanga; and four sisters, Josephine Watsula, Gertrude Hoder, Elizabeth Kozdra and Ann Skowvron. At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Hilary Church, 320 Henderson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. William G.
