Helen Arbogast

Helen Louise Parsons Arbogast, 75, of Washington, died Monday, September 24, 2007, in The Washington Hospital. She was born May 3, 1932, in Washington, a daughter of Eric and Bertha Lucille Jolley Sutherland. Mrs. Arbogast, a homemaker, formerly worked for Metro Glass, Federal Paper, and Annealing Box. She had also been a private-duty caregiver for many local families. Mrs. Arbogast was Christian and an active prayer warrior. She enjoyed playing cards and Yahtzee. Her husband, Clifford J. Arbogast, died August 4, 1981. Surviving are three daughters, Sandra Anderson, Patricia Shadeck and Cathy Guidas, all of Washington; one sister, Vonnie Travis of New York; four grandchildren, Dana Marie White, Tiffany Lucey, Joshua Anderson and Timothy Shadeck; and three great-grandchildren, Mason, Madison and Max. Deceased is a son, Robert Charles Parsons. At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
