Theresa A. Julian

Theresa A. Julian, 90, of Claysville, died Monday, December 4, 2006, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She was born October 18, 1916, in Washington, a daughter of Thomas and Rose Andreola Arena. Mrs. Julian attended Washington High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Christian Church of North America. She was a clerk at Montgomery Ward, formerly located in downtown Washington. Mrs. Julian enjoyed cooking. Her family and religion were very important to her. In 1935, she married Anthony (Tony) Julian, who died February 11, 1983. Mr. Julian was a barber in Washington for more than 50 years. Surviving are two children, a son, Frank (Shirley) Julian Sr. and a daughter, Jackie (Charles) Watson; four grandchildren, Frank (Janet) Julian Jr., Charles Watson Jr., Bobbie Jo Julian (Richard) Durbin and Jeff (Lynn) Watson; two stepgrandchildren, Kathy (Dave) Flory and Vickie (Mark) Teegarden; five great-grandchildren, Sammi Julian, Stevie Julian, Marissa Durbin, Erich Julian Durbin and Matthew Julian Watson; a stepgreat-granddaugher, Beth Phillips; and two stepgreat-grandsons, Ryan and Nicholas Teegarden.Deceased are a brother, Patsy Arena, and two sisters, Louise (Jules) Boni and Mildred (Louis) Montecalvo. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 7, with the Rev. Hugh Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
