Martha Reynolds Keck

April 9, 1917 — September 20, 2007

Martha Keys Reynolds Keck died September 20, 2007, in Weslaco, Texas. She was born April 9, 1917, in California, Pennsylvania. Daughter of Roy V. Keys and Sarah Hileman, she graduated from Trinity High School in 1935 and later that year married her high school sweetheart, Frank G. Reynolds. She and Frank attended Laboratory Presbyterian Church. Martha attended Penn Commercial College, then worked at W&J College as Faculty Secretary. After Frank’s death in 1971, she moved to West Lafayette, Indiana, and worked as Secretary to the Dean of the Pharmacy School at Purdue University. She married Arba Clawson in 1982 and they moved to Harlingen, Texas. After Arba’s death she remained in Harlingen and married Walter Keck in 1994. She was a member of the LaFeria Presbyterian Church and O.E.S. Chapter 172 of LaFeria. Music was Martha’s life and she was an accomplished organist and pianist. She is survived by her husband Walter, a son James Reynolds, Nevada, a daughter Kathleen Little, Colorado, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She will be buried in Washington Cemetery with graveside services at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 26. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Martha’s name to the American Cancer Society.
