I.C. Church member was Albano's Produce bookkeeper.
Mary Jean Albano, 80, of Washington, died at 12:35 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2007, in the Washington Hospital emergecy room. She had been ill for six months.
She was born June 8, 1927, in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of William and Regina O'Maley Stahl.
Mrs. Albano graduated from Immaculate Conception High School and Carlow University.
A homemaker, she and had been employed as a bookkeeper at Albano's Produce and Pittsburgh National Bank.
Mrs. Albano was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and its Catholic Daughters.
She enjoyed puzzles, reading and playing bridge.
On November 8, 1951, she married George D. Albano, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, William (Florence) Albano of Washington and George A. (Linda) Albano of Tulsa, Okla.; and a grandchild, Allison Albano.
Deceased are a sister, Elizabeth Interval; and a brother, Gerald Stahl.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. The public is invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, in Immaculate Conception Church, with Father Nicholas Spirko as celebrant. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
