Carole Hissom

Carole Ann Renz Hissom, 65, of West Finley, died November 27, 2006, in Donnell House, following a lengthy illness. She was born December 31, 1940, in Washington, a daughter of Evangeline Hall. Mrs. Hissom graduated from Central Greene High School and was a member of Wolfdale Bible Chapel. She was a Notary and enjoyed crocheting. Her first husband, William James McCartney, died in 2004. On May 6, 2006, she married Richard Hissom, who survives. Also surviving are a son, William James McCartney, of Burgettstown; three daughters, Beverly Sue Meadows, of Aberdeen, Mississippi, Lori Sue Stevens, of McDonald, and Donna Darlene Cox, of Washington; a brother, William James Hall, of Apache Junction, Arizona, a half brother, Wetzel Rusilko, of Bentleyville; a sister, Mary Louise Eckles, of Washington, two half sisters, Rebecca and Joyce; and nine grandchildren. Deceased is a brother. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2006, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Fred Helmick officiating.
