Richard Wilson Livingood, 77, of Claysville, died at 8:20 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2007, in Kade Nursing Home.
He was born January 14, 1930, in Houston, a son of William Lloyd and Eleanore Haft Mendenhall Livingood.
Mr. Livingood graduated from Hickory High School and worked as a baker at Best Yet Donuts.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and practicing target shooting.
Mr. Livingood was a member of Houston United Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are three sons, Rick (Rebecca) Livingood of Claysville, Dane (Janel) Livingood of Prosperity, and Mark (Laura) Livingood of Washington; three daughters, Donna McCartney of Washington, Beth Noel of Prosperity and Susan (Jesse) Bova of Washington; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Tommy Livingood; and a brother, William Livingood.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the hour of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Rick Livingood officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Roadside Chapel Missions, 1869 Pleasant Grove Road, Claysville PA 15323.
