Regina Fleming

Regina Ann Fleming, 80, of Washington, died at 5:34 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2007, in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh. She had been ill since June 2005. She was born February 26, 1926, in Washington, a daughter of Roman R. and Esther E. Johnson Cooper. Mrs. Fleming graduated from Washington High School and Penn Commercial Business College. She was a homemaker and a Jehovah’s Witness. She loved Jehovah and the ministry. On September 26, 1959, she married Julian Fleming, who died December 10, 1993. Surviving are two brothers, Austin R. (Maureen) Cooper of Greensburg and Roland R. (Patricia) Cooper of Somerdale, New Jersey; and one sister, Ethelynn (Alonzo) Sanders of Washington. Deceased are two sisters, Thelma Ruth Cooper and B. Marie Irvin; and a brother, Edward Lynn Cooper. Burial in Washington Cemetery will be private. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2007, in Kingdom Hall, Cleveland Road, Washington, with Paul Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pittsburgh Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1630 Spring Run Road Extension, Coraopolis, PA 15108. Funeral arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd. 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
