Margaret Ann “Peggyâ€쳌 Fisher, 52, of Washington, died Thursday, January 4, 2007, in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a two-year illness.
She was born July 4, 1954, in Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of Phyllis Zimmerman Dotson, of Austin, Texas, and the late William Dotson.
A graduate of Shaler High School in 1972, she received her Bachelor of Science from West Liberty College, and her nursing degree from Washington Hospital School of Nursing.
Mrs. Fisher was a registered nurse at Washington Hospital for thirty-one years, and a member of the Association of Practitioners for Infection Control.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Fisher enjoyed her children and pets, also walking and exercising.
On September 27, 1975, she married David Allen Fisher, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Michael David Fisher, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; a daughter, Erin Nicole Fisher, at home; a brother, William (C.J.) Dotson, of Austin, Texas; and sister, Becky (Thomas) Lynes, of Harrisburg.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 8, 2007, in Trinity Episcopal Church, 550 S. Main Street, Washington, with the Rev. Karen Stephenson officiating.
