Washington homemaker. Darlene Burt, 53, of Washington, died at 9 a.m. Monday, January 1, 2007, in her home. She had been in declining health for the past three years. She was born May 21, 1953, in Washington, a daughter of the late Robert J. Sr. and Dorothy Isabelle Lyons Anderson. A homemaker, she enjoyed her grandchildren. She also enjoyed bingo and the Steelers. She attended Trinity High School. On June 28, 1969, she married David W. Burt Sr., who survives. Also surviving are a son, David W. Burt Jr. and wife Shelley of Washington; a daughter, Davina Pattison and husband Robert of Washington; four brothers, Robert J. Anderson Jr. of El Paso, Texas, Carl Anderson of Hendersonville, Lester Anderson of Eighty Four and Donald Anderson of Wooster, Ohio; three sisters, Ruth Ealy of Washington, Hazel Brewer of Gainesville, Texas, and Ellamae Haddox of Leesburg, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Morgan, Mia and Jacob Pattison and Zakery Burt. Deceased are a son, Douglas W. Burt, and a brother, David Anderson. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 5.
