Mildred L. Wilson, 95, of Washington, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2007, in Southminster Place of Presbyterian Senior Care.
Born on December 28, 1911, in Washington, she was a daughter of John G. and Alma Hedquist Holt. She attended Clark School in Washington. Mildred and her husband, George, owned and operated their farm in Tarentum for many years before their retirement.
She was Presbyterian, loved helping others, had a great love of animals, and was an avid bingo player.
Surviving are her two nephews, John Holt of Washington and Britt Holt of Ballwin, Missouri.
She was the last of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, George Wilson, a sister, Helen Wilmsfloet and a brother, Herbert Holt.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2007, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
