Ronald Earl "Herbie"쳌 Blake, 56, of Washington, died at 5:00 p.m., Monday, September 10, 2007, in Washington Hospital, following a one-year illness.
He was born March 12, 1951, in Washington, a son of Lois Ann (Mooky) Seibert Blake, of Washington, and the late Kenneth Earl Blake.
Mr. Blake graduated from Washington High School and attended Robert Morris College for two years.
He was employed at Ameron Water for two years and Cameron Coke for twenty-five years, in delivery and sales.
Mr. Blake was a protestant. His interests were golf and Pittsburgh sports.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Kenneth R. "Randy"쳌 (Linda) Blake, of Elyria, Ohio; three nephews, Casey, Thomas, and Andrew Blake, two great nieces, Haley and Kaitlyn; cousins, Jack and Jean Fleissner; and his girlfriend, Judy Yater.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 14, 2007, with the Rev. Kenneth N. Schott officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
