Sarah Elizabeth Klein

Sara Elizabeth Klein, 95, of McMurray, died Sunday, August 19, 2007. She was born in Bridgeville, on January 29, 1912, a daughter of Charles Edward and Sarah Penson Godwin. She was a member of the Center Presbyterian Church and had been attending the Upper St. Clair Alliance Church. Gardening and reading as well as crochet, knitting and various crafts were long time hobbies. After graduating high school, she graduated from the Grace Martin Secretarial School and won awards for speed in typing. On February 15, 1936, she married Harry M. Klein, who died on December 24, 1987. Surviving are; a son, Harry R. “ Bob “ ( Grayce ) Klein of Claysville; a daughter, Barbara ( Jack ) Beisner of McMurray, with whom she made her home; five grandchildren, Michael and Mark Klein, Kimberly Ordy, Robert and Dean Beisner; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by three brothers, Bill who was her twin, Harry and Ted Godwin. Friends of Sara Elizabeth Klein, 95, of McMurray, who died Sunday, August 19, 2007, will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2007, at 11:00 AM, Rev. Jack Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
