Thomas David Maurice Fox, 75, of Washington, died at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2007, in his home, following a six-week illness.
He was born November 11, 1931, in Washington, D.C., a son of the late David and Emily Young Fox.
Mr. Fox was Catholic. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, photography and Ham Radio. His call sign with Ham Radio was W3BGY, formerly he had the call sign KA3N1Y. He was also a member of the WACOM Club.
Surviving are Conzella “Connieâ€쳌 Johnson, his companion of twenty-four years; two sons, David and Johnny Fox, both of Washington, D.C.; two stepsons, Paul Washington, of Johnstown, and Roy Johnson, of Jacksonville, FL.; three daughers, Patricia Wiggins and Betty Ann Baldwin, both of Washington, D.C., and Sarona Fox, of Maryland; three stepdaughters, Mona Washington, of Aliquippa, Monica Lowe and Adrian Adams, both of Canonsburg; a brother, Albert Fox, of Washington, D.C.; nineteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Deceased are a stepdaughter, Marcie Washington; three brothers, Joseph, Charles and Peter Fox; and a sister, Cecilia Fox.
Friends will be received 1 to 5 p.m., the hour of service, Sunday, August 19, 2007, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, with the Rev. Robert C. Robinson officiating.
