Diane Loughman Voytek, 60, of West Middletown, died unexpectedly at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2007, in her home, following a two-year illness.
She was born March 26, 1947, in Franklin Township, Greene County, a daughter of Kenneth D. and Dorothy Cole Loughman.
Mrs. Voytek was a 1965 graduate of Avella High School and attended Duff’s Institute for two years.
She was a paramedic for fifteen years, the first twelve with Central Ambulance and the last three with Mercy Mobile Care.
Mrs. Voytek was a member of Grove Presbyterian Church and West Middletown Volunteer Fire Department. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo and being with her family and grandchildren.
On May 27, 1967, she married Donald Paul Voytek, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Michele (Brian R.) Gordon of Avella and Debra (Jason) Marshalek of Scenery Hill; three grandchildren, Brian A. Gordon, Paige Marshalek and Austin Marshalek; three nieces, April Voytek, Brenda Voytek, and Kimberly Loughman; and three nephews, Jason Voytek, Dustin Loughman, and Jarad Loughman.
Deceased are two brothers, Robert M. and Kenneth Loughman.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2007, with Rev. Dr. Susan VandeKappelle officiating.
