Louraine Charlotte Neal

Louraine Charlotte Neal, 79, of Elyria, Ohio, died at 7:43 a.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2006, in North Olmsted, Ohio. She had been in declining health. Mrs. Neal lived in Washington County, Pennsylvania before moving to Cadiz, Ohio, and just recently had moved to Elyria. She was born April 11, 1927, in Treveskyn, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Charles and Mary Manges Bourg. Mrs. Neal graduated from South Fayette High School in1945. She retired as a storeroom attendant for General Telephone, where she had previously worked as a telephone operator. Mrs. Neal was Methodist and enjoyed gardening and baking pies. On July 26, 1945, she married Richard Walker Neal, who died January 21, 1992. Surviving are two sons, Richard Walker Neal of Richmond, Ohio, and James Allen Neal of St. Clairsville, Ohio; one daughter, Janice Ann Bryden of Elyria, Ohio; a sister, Helen Campbell of Canfield, Ohio; and six grandchildren. Friends will be received 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and noon to 2 p.m., the hour of service, Saturday, November 18, 2006, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Dr. Kenneth Schott officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
