Adolph Bacque, 68, of Washington, died Wednesday, December 27, 2006, in Donnell House, following a brief illness.
He was born July 6, 1938, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of Cramer and Carolyn Case Bacque.
Mr. Bacque was a delivery driver for Betty Brite Cleaners and had also been employed by Hazel-Atlas and as a driver for G,G & C.
He was Catholic by faith. Mr. Bacque enjoyed hunting, fishing and, in recent years, playing bingo. He was a devoted father and grandfather.
On November 19, 1956, he married Alberta Rose Tatterson, who survives. They recently celebrated fifty years of marriage.
Also surviving are two daughters, Debra Lea (Jim) Greer, of Frederick, Maryland, and Stacy Lynnette (Dennis) Saffell, of Taylorstown; one brother, Cramer Bacque of York; three sisters, Josephine Hutter of Youngstown, Ohio, Rose Boggs of Mather, and Alberta Stedman of Washington; three grandchildren, Shaylynn Ingersoll, Briana Greer and Dylan Saffell.
Deceased are a brother, Joseph Bacque; and a sister, Erma Cole.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2006, with Rev. Thomas D. O’Neil officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
