Samuel Paul Dille, 62, of Washington, died Thursday, October 12, 2006, in Donnell House, Washington, following a brief illness.
He was born August 20, 1944, in Dothan, Ala., a son of Samuel Thompson Dille of Washington and the late Betty Cole Dille.
Mr. Dille was a graduate of Washington High School and had served in the U.S. Air Force.
He worked for 34 years as a serviceman for Pennsylvania-American Water Co.
Mr. Dille was Protestant.
He was a member of Edwin Scott Linton Post 175 of American Legion, BPOE 776 and LOOM 22.
Surviving are two sons, Christopher P. (Kim) Dille of Cecil and Brian Keith Dille of Washington, and five grandchildren, Shannen Renee, Chad Thomas, Keith Richard, Tyler John and Logan Paul Dille.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 16, with the Rev. Dr. Susan VandeKappelle officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
