Keith E. Halsey

Keith E. Halsey, 53, of Dale City, VA. suddenly passed away Friday, Oct. 13th, 2006. He was born March 30, 1953 in Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated from Avalon High School in 1971 and Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1975 with a degree in Criminology and Psychology. He was employed for 31 years with the FBI at the Bureau’s Headquarters in Washington, D.C. His most recent position was Supervisory Intelligence Analyst in the Criminal Intelligence Section of the Criminal Investigative Division. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Deborah K. Funka Halsey, formerly of Washington, Pennsylvania; three sons, George, Kenneth, and Daniel Halsey of Dale City, VA; his parents, Ernest and Madonna Halsey and a sister Kris Moore Eshghy of Pittsburgh, PA; four nieces, Kristi Loop, Kelli Funka, Lori Mead, Kelly Moore, and one nephew, Joseph Moore. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, October 20th, at William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA., where a Memorial Service will commence Saturday, October 21st, at 10 a.m., with Father Joseph Jugan and Rev. Rick Sweeney officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a college fund for his youngest surviving son, Daniel Halsey, at Bank of America.
