David Barry Porter

David Barry Porter, 56, of Washington, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 13, 2007, in Washington Hospital. He was born August 7, 1950, in Canonsburg, a son of Clyde and Catherine Rhinaman Porter. Mr. Porter was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and had served in the Marine Corps. He worked as a custodian for the Chartiers-Houston School District for three years and was a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. On February 26, 1972, he married Sandra Andreolli, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, David B. (Kresta) Porter, Jr., of Graysville, Todd M. (Tiffany) Porter of Washington, and Cody J. Porter, of Washington; two brothers, Boyd Porter of Nashville and Ronald Porter of Canonsburg; one sister, Patricia Bui of Pittsburgh; a granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Porter; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007, in Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Fairway Drive, Washington, with Bishop Brent Wahlquist officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
