Carolyn Joyce Daniels

Jefferson Memorial Hospital lab technician. Carolyn Joyce Daniels, 60, of Pittsburgh, died unexpectedly at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2006, in her home. She was born April 9, 1946, in Steubenville, Ohio. Mrs. Daniels was a graduate of Burgettstown High School and earned an associate's degree from Community College of Allegheny County. She worked as a lab technician at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Daniels enjoyed reading, shopping, dancing, traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had many loving friends, including P. Miller Lydick, Jean Hanas and Kenneth Swamp. Surviving are a son, Michael Wayne Daniels and wife Peggy of McMurray; a daughter, Michele Lynne Alderson and husband Marty of Pittsburgh; and two grandchildren, Abigail and Nathan Daniels. Private services will be held at the family's convenience in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
