William R. Grady, 28, of Washington, died Friday, May 26, 2006, in Deerlick, Greene County. He had been in declining health for four years.
He was born January 3, 1978, in Washington, a son of Clarence George Grady Jr. and Margaret L. Robl Grady Ralston of Washington.
Mr. Grady had been employed by Jefferson Sawmill. He did masonry work and was a bricklayer.
He enjoyed rebuilding old trucks and restoring old cars.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his stepfather, Melvin L. Ralston Sr., who raised him; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Robl of Washington; his paternal grandfather, Clarence George Grady Sr. (Deanna) of Winchester, Va.; three brothers, Michael Grady, Alfred Ralston and Burt J. Robl, all of Washington; a sister, Shirl Ralston of Washington; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Also surviving are his companion of three years, Danielle Ealy; and her son, Jonathan Douglas Ealy, both of Deerlick.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, with the Rev. Volinda Custer officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
