Lenora J. Salisbury, 69, of Eighty-Four, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, in Manor Care Nursing Home, McMurray, following a six to seven year illness. She was born July 2, 1936, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Jack and Mary Jane Johnson. Mrs. Salisbury had been employed as a cook at the 519 Truck Stop in Eighty-Four. She enjoyed knitting. On December 15, 1952, she married Joseph C. Salisbury, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Joseph E. and Robert A. Salisbury, both of Eighty-Four, and James T. Salisbury, of Washington; a daughter, Susan J. Doyle, of Eighty-Four; eleven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Deceased is a grandson, James Timothy “Timmyâ€쳌 Salisbury.
At the request of the deceased, private services were held. Entombment was in Washington Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
