Amber Justine Miller

2003 WHS honors graduate. Amber Justine Miller, 21, of Washington, died June 16, 2006, in Erie, due to injuries suffered in an accident. She was born October 8, 1984, in Washington, a daughter of Roger Lee Kelley Sr. and Doni Justine Bryner, both of Washington. Miss Miller was a 2003 honors graduate of Washington High School, where she played on the volleyball team. Most recently, she was attending Penn Commercial. She had been employed at Presbyterian Senior Care, Henderson Avenue Foodland and Carmella's. Miss Miller loved to make people happy, loved animals, and enjoyed playing video games and going to amusement parks. She collected Elmo-related items. She was a member of Living Waters Church of God. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are stepparents, Howard E. Miller and Donald E. Bryner, Jr.; two brothers, Ryan Edward Kelley and Roger Lee Kelly II; two sisters, Ashlee Marie Kelley and Alyssa Dawn Kelley; a stepbrother, Christopher Richard Miller, all of Washington; maternal grandparents Clarence L. (Nina) Miller of Washington and Barbara L. (Donald) Bird of Claysville; maternal great-grandparents Marjorie Miller and Ochel Loar; paternal grandparents Edward M. and Dixie F. Kelley of Washington; a nephew, Seth DeBlasio; and numerous aunts and uncles. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, with the Rev. Herb Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Washington Area Humane Society, P.O. 66, Eighty Four, PA 15330; Children's Hospital Burn Unit, 3705 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213; or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Attn: Thanks and Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
