Worked at George Washington Hotel. Laura R. Kilgore, 80, of Washington, died at 8:55 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2006, in her residence, following a one-month illness. She was born December 14, 1925, in Washington, a daughter of Alfred and Leona Mossburg. Mrs. Kilgore was a homemaker who had once worked at the George Washington Hotel. She was a former member of Eagles Club, where she played dartball. On April 10, 1943, she married James Lee Kilgore, who died July 31, 2005. Surviving are four daughters, Jean (William) Horn of Cokeburg, Judi (Roy) Hart of Richeyville, Diane (John) Marconi of Washington and Linda (Ed) Brazier of Crown; six grandchildren, Jim, Ron and Jamie Horn, Billy Jo Leech and Brian and Brenda Hart; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, John and George Mossburg; and three sisters, Doris Scott, Selena Greer and Ann Gray. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, with the Rev. Keith Lohr officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
