Co-owner of Pollock Jewelers, Bridgeville. Florence C. Note Pollock, 77, of Bridgeville, formerly of Houston, died at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2006, in Washington Hospital following a four-month illness. She was born March 5, 1928, in Houston, a daughter of Frank and Helen Marra Note. She was a member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church in Bridgeville. She had been co-owner of Pollock Jewelers in Bridgeville from 1949 until 1987. She was a member of National Jewelers of America and a graduate of Gem School of America. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Order of St. Luke, and a promoter for St. Padre Pio of Barto. She was a graduate of Chartiers High School. She was united in marriage with Louis Pollock, who died in 1987. Surviving are an aunt, Lucretia Poness of Houston; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a personal friend of the Rev. Floyd Marasco and his wife, Joann. Deceased is a son, Larry Ragazzini; and a brother, Alfred Note. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing. Friends and family are invited to a funeral service to be held at noon Tuesday, March 7, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Floyd Marasco officiating. Burial will be in St. Agatha Cemetery, Bridgeville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the National Centre for Padre Pio Inc., 2213 Old Route 100, Barto, PA 19504.
