Wilma R. Hazen, 86, of Claysville, died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 7, 2006, in Washington Hospital.
She was born December 23, 1919, in Buffalo Village, a daughter of Edwin and Anna Taggart Ralston.
Mrs. Hazen graduated from Trinity High School in 1939 and was a member of Claysville United Presbyterian Church.
She was a secretary for Boys Baseball for more than 20 years.
On June 27, 1942, she married Robert L. Hazen, who died April 7, 1999.
Surviving are two sons, Robert L. (Laura) Hazen Jr. of Clayton, Ohio, and James W. (Sharon) Hazen of Claysville; a daughter, Karen (Ray) McAdoo of Fayetteville, Ga.; a brother, Robert Ralston of Buffalo Village; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A brother, Donald Ralston, is deceased.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 10, with the Rev. Stan Fedyszyn officiating. Burial will follow in Upper Buffalo Church Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Claysville Volunteer Fire Department.
