Beatrice Adams

Beatrice Adams ( Risbin) of Blue Bell, died suddenly on April 18th in Chestnut Hill Hospital at the age of 86. Daughter of Sara and Thomas Risbin; beloved wife of the late James J. Adams; loving mother of Kathleen (Richard) Serano , Patrick (Sue) Adams , Beatrice (the late Jerry) McCormick and Marie (Christopher) Hughes; devoted grandmother of Andrew (Allison) Serano , Jennifer (T.J.) Haslam , Nancy (Polk) Smartt , Michael McCormick, Matthew (Ashley) Adams , Erin Hughes and Kerri Hughes; great grandmother of Thomas and Cullen Haslam; dear sister of Rita Renner and Madelyn Folkens and preceded by 6 brothers and 4 sisters. Also survived by 47 nieces and nephews. Beatrice was born in Marianna, Pennsylvania and grew up in Washington, Pennsylvania. She attended Trinity High School and graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Beauty. She was married at Immaculate Conception Church in Washington, Pa and moved to Philadelphia where she raised her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22, 2006, at 10:00 AM, in Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.
