Julie Fern Porter, 56, of Bethesda, Ohio, died at 10:18 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2006, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born February 6, 1949, in Washington, a daughter of the late George and Grace Eckels Porter.
She attended East Washington High School and was a homemaker.
She loved horses and enjoyed horse pulls. She was a member of Horse and Mule Association and Centerville American Legion Post Auxiliary.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Richard Jordan of West Pittsburg and Adam Duane (Nicole) Loughman Sr. of Bridgeport, Ohio; a daughter, Brenda Sue Jordan (Ronald Jr.) Sprowls of Belmont, Ohio; a sister, Fay (Ron) Earley of Washington; 10 grandchildren, Gary Jr., Jessica, Josie, Stacia, Roni Sue, Jordan, Tyesha, Zachery, Adam Jr. and Kiara; two nephews, Ronald Earley Jr., of West Finley and Brian Earley Sr. of Scenery Hill; and five great-nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 23, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will follow at 8 p.m. with the Revs. Ronald and Shirley Sprowls officiating.
