Dorothy Jean Kirkpatrick

Retired secretary at Frazier-Simplex. Dorothy Jean Kirkpatrick, 75, of Washington, died at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2006, in Washington Hospital. She had been ill since November 2005. She was born January 21, 1931, in Washington, a daughter of Harold E. and Grace Porter Kirkpatrick. After graduating from Washington High School in 1948, she first worked at Hillsview Clinic and later worked as a secretary at Frazier-Simplex for more than 32 years, retiring in 1993. Miss Kirkpatrick was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan. A sister, Betty K. Thackston, is deceased. No public visitation will be held at the request of the deceased. A public service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 28, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
