Geraldine Virginia Seibel, 88, formerly of Caldwell Avenue, Washington, died Sunday, February 12, 2006, in the home of her daughter, Sandra Tustin, Canonsburg, after having been ill since December.
She was born in Washington on June 22, 1917, a daughter of Lawrence and Edith Edminston Grove.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a case maker and machine operator at Hazel Atlas # 2, Brockway Glass, Kress Box and Continental Can Corporation.
She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance and enjoyed going to church camp. Mrs. Seibel also enjoyed bowling.
On April 30, 1937, she married Robert James Seibel, who died on February 9, 1988.
Surviving are three daughters, Lois ( Earl ) Ruffner of Naples, Florida, Barbara Waychoff of Amity, and Sandra Tustin of Canonsburg; seven grandchildren & ten great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are a sister, Ida Dukate and a brother Kenneth Grove.
Friends of Geraldine Virginia Seibel, 88, formerly of Caldwell Avenue, Washington, who died Sunday, February 12, 2006, will be received on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2006, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
