Claysville woman enjoyed crafts.
Selma C. Lachman, 91, of Claysville, died Thursday, February 9, 2006, in Presbyterian Senior Care, Southmont, after two years of declining health.
She was born April 19, 1914, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of August and Cecilia Johnson Ritter.
Mrs. Lachman was Protestant and a homemaker who enjoyed crafts, ceramics and crocheting.
On October 14, 1938, she married Lloyd F. Lachman, who survives and with whom she celebrated 67 years of marriage.
Also surviving are a son, Donald Richard (Bonnie) Lachman of Claysville; two grandchildren, Diana (Cory) Loughman and Donald (Susan) Lachman; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Kristin Loughman; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Richard and Donald Ritter.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 13, with Pastor Betty Sprowls officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, Pleasant Hills.
