Elizabeth Anna Goldsmith, 88, of Ellsworth, formerly of Newell and Carnegie, died Friday, September 23, 2005, in Washington County Health Center, Washington, following a lengthy illness. She was born October 17, 1916, in Newell, a daughter of Julius and Elizabeth Annie Wolf Ordos. She had been a waitress and caretaker and enjoyed caring for babies and cooking for her family. Mrs. Goldsmith was Catholic. Her husband, Thomas Brady, is deceased. Surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth A. Faloskey of McKeesport; two grandchildren, Jill Goldsmith of Mt. Lebanon and Elizabeth M. Faloskey of Bentleyville; and three great-grandchildren, Chyan Elizabeth Banovich, Jacob Mayes and Justin Mayes. Deceased is a son, George Norman Goldsmith.
Arrangements are private and at the convenience of the family. William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, is in charge of arrangements.
